I saw "Oz, The Great and Powerful" with Darla on Saturday at my favorite movie house - Star Cinema Grill. The movie had varied reviews so I didn't know what to expect. It is a long movie (2 hrs, 7 min.) so no giant cola for me, thank you! I really did enjoy it and I especially liked James Franco who portrayed the character, Oz. Though, not a remake of the original "Wizard of Oz" movie, it brought close the things I loved about it - the poppy field, Munchkins, and witches. The cinematography and graphics were neat - lots of action! And, of course, smoke and mirrors.
