Arrived for our second summer season at Yellowstone Holiday Resort & Marina on beautiful Lake Hebgen, West Yellowstone, Montana on May 8th to swirling snow flurries. Just days prior, we had enjoyed beautiful, cool weather in Ashton, Idaho where we had the opportunity to visit Mesa Falls. The Idaho campground we found was located (it seemed to us) in the middle of nowhere but was a wonderful golf resort by the name of Aspen Acres RV Park & Golf Course. In Loveland, Colorado, we visited the beautiful sculpture garden and hiked Devil's Backbone. We went to Estes Park, Colorado and enjoyed time in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Beautiful snow and gorgeous days! And, as usual, we spent time with our children and grandson, as well as family in West Texas before setting out this year. Our days were filled with laughter, fun, food, and kids galore! We shared time with Mavis, Larry's Dad, too. He has now turned 94!
We are now on the downhill side of our 5 month stay at YHR and have had a very busy season so far! Will post more later! Thanks for visiting "Out There With Lea & Larry."
